Sponsorships carried out through federal and state incentive laws (such as ICMS SP) aim to foster local social initiatives through projects and programs that generate positive impact, promote social transformation, and contribute to the sustainable development of the territories where we operate.
Our priority areas of focus include education, culture, health, the environment, and dignified housing. In addition, our primary target audience is children and adolescents, recognizing their central role in building more resilient, inclusive, and opportunity-rich communities. Aligned with our 2025 Sustainability Strategy, we aim to support initiatives in all municipalities where Dexco has operations, connecting with the most relevant and strategically aligned social projects to ensure greater investment effectiveness and management efficiency.
Updated data on the sponsorships carried out in 2024 can be found in the table below. Following this, you will also find the criteria used for project selection and evaluation, which guide our decisions based on social impact, strategic alignment, and feasibility of execution.
Criteria:
As part of its purpose of delivering Solutions for Better Living, Dexco provides sponsorships through federal and state tax incentive laws (exclusively in the State of São Paulo, via ICMS), with the aim of contributing to the local development of the territories where it operates industrial or forestry activities.
In this context, we prioritize support for projects that:
– are implemented in the municipalities where Dexco operates;
– address real local needs, identified through community dialogue, local diagnostics, or public policies;
– promote relevant, measurable social impact with potential for continuity;
– contribute to strengthening local stakeholders and organized civil society; and
– are aligned with Dexco’s Social Responsibility Guidelines and the Company’s priority Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Dexco understands that positive impacts on society must be combined with well-defined strategies, so that they are assertive and effective. However, in many situations, specific interventions are necessary, through donations. To this end, Dexco has established an Internal Standard* that regulates donations of its products or purchased goods, to meet specific needs.
The Social Responsibility area (ESG Management team) manages donations, ensuring compliance with the criteria and verifying that donations were properly implemented.
In 2024, total donations amounted to more than R$ 600,000, considering the market value of Dexco products or goods acquired by the Company, benefiting 18 institutions and 10 municipalities. Between April and May, the state of Rio Grande do Sul faced severe rains and large-scale flooding that significantly impacted the local population. In response, we directed our efforts to support community recovery by contributing to the cleaning of homes, clearing of public roads, and donating furniture and appliance kits, food baskets, water, medicines, and panels for furniture manufacturing. In total, more than 80 people – including employees, permanent contractors, and their families – were directly benefited by these actions.
We believe creating a network of partnerships is essential, since complex problems cannot be solved without engaging several stakeholders. Therefore, Dexco creates institutional partnerships that resonate with our goals and seek sustainable development, promotion of knowledge and education, value diversity, and fight child sexual exploitation.
