Social-Environmental Program

Our Social-Environmental Program has been developed to integrate new businesses acquired by Dexco to our main social and environmental themes. For two years, the program disseminates the company’s Sustainability Strategy and also standardizes policies and practices the company must adhere to.

The initiative is based on three main pillars: Management, Suppliers, and Communities. Within a year of being implemented, we define a local internal team to work on social-environmental themes. We evaluate the new business’ existing practices, programs, and projects, identify risks and opportunities, disseminate our policies, standardize how indicators are managed, assess adherence to market indices, check compliance with current laws, map out critical suppliers, and observe how they connect with local communities.

In the second year, once the program has been consolidated, management systems and action plans are implemented, critical suppliers are identified, communities are contacted, and targets connected with indicators that were mapped out are set.
